Having gained recognition as the former drummer for M.I.A. and as the iconic free-bleeding runner at the 2015 London Marathon, Madame Gandhi now writes music that elevates and celebrates the female voice. As a design program manager at Facebook, an artist, and a devout feminist, Michelle is passionate about design. In this talk, we'll learn about how she's navigated her career, the challenges she's faced in and out of work, how she's used design thinking to overcome them, and the advice she would give her 17-year-old self.

Her campaign, Embrace Your Unknown, showcases the need for transparent storytelling and conscientious self-care. She will discuss the power of social media as a tool to empowering those living with mental illness.
